More of a psychological question: how long should I wait and gear up before I take my first practice exam? From a mental standpoint, I feel like this could make a difference. Obviously, from a strictly scoring perspective, you’re going to get what you’re going to get and that depends on how much you know. Still, do others feel like they want to wait a little longer and be confident going into their first practice exam? Am I making a mistake here if I wait another couple weeks? Thanks
Depends on how many you plan to take. It wouldn’t be a good idea to take more than one a week coz it takes 2-3 days to review it completely! So if you plan on taking 2-3 tests, you can wait. If you plan to take 5-6, get going…
Do the first one ASAP. Meaning now!! Let’s say you get 40% on it…that would scare you into studying more! Whatever you get on the practice exam would be good…it will force you to work more and you will have a good run through. The second, third, fourth…eleventh time would be a lot better. What do you think?
Hey I still think its good to cover the syllabus fully once atleast before giving the first exam. Else it would be a moral let down ! cheers hari
