People compare themselves on a relative basis, not absolute. White men (outside of the top 1%) are worse off today on a relative basis than any other group. Minorities, LGBT community and women have all made tremendous inroads the last few decades while the white boy that was accustomed to his unionized job working for the same company his entire life and guaranteed to be more successful than his parents is now disillusioned.
The pie is fixed. Liberals play god and steal pie from people they hate (themselves), give it to their “special groups”.

The relative change is also due to the fact that white men had it so much ridiculously better than everyone in the 50’s it wasnt even a discussion. I dont think youll have anyone argue things arent better for LGBTQ & minorities now, they certainly are but I think you would not have much of an understanding as to what happened to think they took it from you. Your own company sold you out, thats what happened. the 1% took it from you so they could make their stock go up a few points.
