haha i meant in general! of course there are outliers. but we shouldnt use outliers to dictate policy. for every 1 of him, there are hundreds if not thousands that have failed.

I checked my dislike again on the video just now, it was gone again and the gap between like and dislike is closing. Wonder why?

Someone posted proof of YouTube hiding dislikes

Found this… not just me, so what’s going on here? Could what President Trump said about google being politically biased be true???

Just a few weeks after Procter & Gamble reported a sobering $8 billion writedown, Gillette has officially called off its war on “toxic masculinity.” The embattled brand has announced that it is now “shifting the spotlight from social issues to local heroes.”

Reuters reported in late July. Procter & Gamble “reported a net loss of about $5.24 billion, or $2.12 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, due to an $8 billion non-cash writedown of Gillette,” the news agency explained.

Gillette has given a number of explanations for its heavy losses, including currency fluctuations and “more competition over the past three years and a shrinking market for blades and razors as consumers in developed markets shave less frequently.” The razor industry, Reuters noted, has declined by 11% over the last 5 years. But critics say Gillette is leaving out a key factor: alienating a large percentage of its potential consumer base.

So I guess the didn’t end up being a huge sales booster? Being progressive and fighting for real social justice is respectable. The current wave of identity politics and ”progressiveness” has nothing to do with it and it exists just because an out of touch group wants to feel elevated and important. Gillette’s commercial wasn’t really that bad but the backslash shows that more and more people are getting fed up with identity politics, toxic masculinity, metoo and what not.

imo it was pretty stupid. they were trying to catch the feminism wave but went too far in the deep end. anyways liek isaid before, they were in decline way before the ad, but imo the ad didnt help either which is why they stopped…

anyways there a new ad now from doritos. their plan is to not include the name nor the logo of their product. their argument is that doritos is so iconic that most people wil lget it. i saw one of the ads and i thought it was the most retarded subliminal crap i’ve seen that will yield very poor results. they are trying ot play 4d chess when they are really just wasting ad dollars. whoever thought of that should be fired.

It got you talking about Doritos didn’t it? Big Brain move

Doritos playing 4D chess

because i read wsj. i dont think most americans read that. if i just saw the poster. i would be confused.

That’s not why Nerdy. You’re 30 now or somesuch. You’re out of touch and don’t get the advertising. Clearly it tested well with their target market. SAD!

Better than Indian commercial add on gillette
