Most of us know that using Schweser for Ethics is a bad idea. Source material all the way. But what about GIPS? For those of you using Schweser as your main study aid, are you going with Schweser for GIPS also, or treating it like Ethics and going to the source only. Have a great weekend. This is starting to hurt.
I’m taking the Schweser route. Because it’s a lot of memorization and lists I didn’t see much in CFAI that offered a lot of value. Need to know the calculations but it seemed as if schweser did an okay job at that.
schweser … gives nice bullet points for requirements and recommendations versus long never-ending paras in CFA text. definately schweser for GIPS (for me)
