GIPS - some new info

you have to deduct non reclaimable witholding taxes also (besides trading expenses) to get gross-of-fees return. after going thru gips thrice, i had no idea abt this ! i’m pretty sure schweser doesn’t mention this. http://www.gipsstandards.org/standards/guidance/archive/pdf/FeesGuidance.pdf page 2, first para

is it in the cfai text? if not then we should ignore it.

that’s too much man

i don’t remember it being mentioned anywhere else. i was checking a doubt i had abt including indirect trading costs and i came across this. thought i’ll post it - may come handy who know

it’s 2.B.1, but it’s recommendation instead of requirements.

thank you. the way they wrote it in the pdf. it seemed like a reqt. who says l2 is tough. this is worst level by far. nothing’s clear !!

which pdf?

the one that i have mentioned in my first post. use the link

ic, sorry for overlooking, at the moment reading all the guidelines is too expensive to me …
