Honestly I’ve decided GIPS is free points. All the vignettes ask basically the same thing.
Not sure how I’d feel about an essay question on it though…
that’s what worries me, either the qbank indicates what kind of things the exam will ask or will not ask
I scored 92% in the online topic tests, and i totally second wlfgngpck, its all the same questions. I really hope they stick to those type of questions. If they deviate…i’ll just choose B.
The multiple choice aren’t difficult at all, I’m just worried about an essay question. I scored an 88% on the qbank but the questions were very repetitive.
Hi everyone, so how would you recommend someone to approach GIPS, just do the CFAI Qbank? And just memorize from there.
I wouldn’t recommend that. I read schweser to gain some background (shouldn’t take more than 2-3 hours), and then supplemented it with amazing notes here on analyst forum. Search for GIPS on the forum, there are beautifully summarized notes available here.
