guys, seems this is really a tough one, even I can remember the formulas for now, I will forget from time to time. Given that most of us dont deal with it on a day to day basis, how do you plan to manage? I guess even you put much effort into it, the chance is you will see 1-2 questions at most in the exam about swap valuation. Given the complexity of the calculation, there is a fair chance that I will make it wrong any way … I’d rather reserve my brain for other tough but important area, i.e. pension. what is your plan?
There’s plenty of time so I wouldn’t give up on anything yet. Assuming that you can safely ignore any of the LOS seems like a recipe for disaster. I say beat your head against it, make flashcards etc. and get it down!
work thro’ an example on the forum… that will give you good insight.
where is the example?
you provide one that you have trouble with.
read all the bloody stuff again, and did the notes concept checker, actually much better than I expected yes, I should keep it in my basket …
