Hello all. I just sat for the level 1 exam this past weekend. It went well I thought. Now that I’m done with that, I am considering studying for the gmat over the next 6-8 weeks and taking that before I really get into studying long hours for (hopefully) level II. Is my understanding correct that I can take the gmat almost whenever I want? It looked like I can pick any date on which to take the test, but I just wanted to verify that here. On the same note, any advice on studying for this thing? I’m hearing that The Official Guide is the way to go as far as study materials (3 books-1 quant, 1 verbal, 1 everything). Any other advice/comments are much appreciated. Thanks
I used the MGMAT self study course worked for me was able to gt a 710 on the first shot. Yes you can take it almost any weekend (at least in NYC). Also be sure to get the practice lamnated sheets and dry erase marker (Being a lefty with messy hand writing I had a hell of a time adjusting to it)

I found using the search function on that site was more than enough. Also, seeing that Chad has added CAIA and FRM forums to this site, one would think he could add a GMAT forum as well.
