Good book on macroeconomic?

I just passed the level 1 exam and want to sharpen my knowledge in macroeconomics. Which book(s) do you guys think is good for my level? Preferably the book would contain some empirical evidences. Thanks!

How about this book on Macroecons by Robert Barro? It’s a pretty thick book though.

I used Mankiw’s Macroeconomics for my Theory class in college. There’s a good workbook/study guide as well that goes along nicely with the text.

I just asked one of my good friends the same question and he suggested book by Obstfeld and Rogoff http://www.amazon.com/Foundations-International-Macroeconomics-Maurice-Obstfeld/dp/0262150476

Although you wont find any real empirical evidencesin it, Age of Turbulance by Greenspan is a great read. I highly recommend it.

Secrets of the Temple is also good, though a bit of a slog at times - focuses on economic policy in the early 80’s commstudent Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Although you wont find any real empirical > evidencesin it, Age of Turbulance by Greenspan is > a great read.
