Does equity method recognize any goodwill? A question asked to calculate the amount of goodwill of investment in associate. But is the investment in associate a one line item under the non current asset? No goodwill shows up separately on balance sheet, right?
Equity method does indeed generate goodwill but it is rolled up into a single line item as you say. Will be disclosed in notes.
