Has anyone here taken the GRE? If so, how did you prepare? I’m currently trying to decide between Kaplan and Princeton Review, but I’m not sure I need a class at all…any thoughts?

Are you talking about the general or subject test? I took it December 2006. Used Barron’s GRE Prep along with the free tools from GRE itself, which helped me a lot on the essays (6 out of 6 on both, thanks to their tips). No classes.
Thanks DD - was just talking about the General. I just ordered the Barrons book and will look into the GRE tools (haven’t signed up for the exam yet). Congrats on your good essay score!
