GS PWM

Does anyone have any insight into this group at Goldman? I’ve read some previous posts and people seem to make it out to be more sales directed, yet I’ve heard differently in some interviews. I definitely don’t want to end up taking a position I find out to be just sales and no investment strategy, so any input would be appreciated. Currently I manage smaller private and institutional portfolios so I don’t want to take a step backwards and end up losing the investment side and going into more sales. But the opportunity to work with larger relationships could be a good move into more sophisticated products and strategies if one day I plan on working for an endowment or family office. Plus does this position set you up well for getting into a top B-school or career path into institutional Portfolio Management? Thanks.
