Come on … have some dignity.
Is it necessary to call yourself Dr. and Ph.D?

Family friend in Germany has a PhD / MD and everyone over there refers to him as “doctor, doctor” I wonder if it is possible to get enough designations that you ascend to the heavens?

Too funny . Do they address you with all your letters after your name up there ? This is ridiculous. If your designations are not naturally reflected in the type of work you do or contributions you bring to the discussion that you need to list them after your name to somehow establish authority, then what did you really gain by doing them ?

When it comes to multpile designations/credentials, there’s a finance professor at American University (Kent Baker) who has 2 doctorates, 4 masters and his Charter. He’s written a ton of books, published well over a hundred academic articles, does about a dozen classes for Schweser a year, and spends his free time (??) playing jazz in a band. Now THAT’s impressive. I’ve met him a couple of times at conferences, and he’s a pretty nice guy, too. Not your typical academic.
My concern is that a lot of people don’t know who Anson is. Where you been living - under a rock?
