Yeah, I’ve kinda noticed that the only thing Indians are interested in buying from other countries are brands. If there’s a bankrupt company in the UK there is a wealthy Indian who will buy their name just so they can repackage it in India and call it foreign.
Unfortunately for Indians, Oxford and Harvard ain’t going bankrupt anytime soon.
Tata’s acquisition of JLR has done wonders for the company. And not only in India. In fact, their India sales is only a small fraction of their global sales.
I’m actually good friends with the guy who put that deal together. I think it’s a great example of an Indian firm buying a foreign brand that was pretty much bankrupt. Although, we did joke with that guy that he paid too much for a very long time. If they had just waited a little bit longer they might have gotten it for even less.
if everything was so simple and she did what was needed why are people queing up to dance on her grave?
why did she need to militarize the police to carry out her orders? why cover up their faults and put the blame on the people?
if her legacy is so positive why does britain have nothing to offer the world apart from financial “services” which really isn’t going to help them in the long run anyway?
what do you mean no white country has manufacturing?what about germany?
britain has a much vaunted higher education system. the problem? no work visa after you graduate…not even a month. even america which is recovering gives a year. canada gives 3. australia probably pays you to study there. it’s that bad. good luck trying to attract people from the third world with that offer. the only one’s who’ll keep going there are eurozone kids.
my original comment was meant in jest.you don’t have to respond to this.
but “thatcher-the milk snatcher”. that is brilliant…lol
