“Man sells his left testicle so he can buy a new car”

http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/26/man-sells-his-left-testicle-so-he-can-buy-a-new-car-4202468/

“A car lover is selling one of his testicles for $35,000 (£22,000) so he can buy a Nissan 370(Z).”

Clearly, this guy has his priorities in order.

Why not? I mean I think most people with debt would sell an extra organ if some millionaire would put their kid through college or pay off their credit card debt.

That’s a pretty slippery slope.

Why would someone buy a testicle for 35k?

Maybe we are moving towards a “Ghost in the Shell” type of world where people can substitute natural body parts for commoditized objects. Maybe this case makes sense, since sports cars can be used as a substitute for masculinity.

I’m gonna call b.s. on the articles. Would be shocked if true.

It’s the Metro so there’s usually a grain of true, but it’s primarily the shock factor they’re clearly going for.

Maybe this will be a solution for people who have testicle cancer or something in the future…

Not smart. A car depreciates quicker than testicles.
