stocks halt every day at 4pm.
stock halts when big news hits…typically, EPS blowout or a CEO dies, etc…you’ll typically see a gaup or down, too. I love it. you can sometimes get a good short in if a stock pops and the news is really not that big but people over react. works great with thin floaters.
