Hard Candy question

Sorry in advance for the silly question…I am planning on bringing werther’s original chewy toffees to the exam, will this be okay? Surely the wrappers and the chewing and sucking make an awful lot of noise?

Thanks in advance,

Heathcliff

Pre-unwrap the toffees … and close your mouth?

Thanks for the reply. Obviously I will try to make as little noise as possible, I was simply seeking reassurance that they would be allowed.

in all of the times i have taken the exam i have NEVER seen anyone bring candy. i would not do it. you can wait a few hours right?

I took jolly ranchers into all my L1 to L3 exams. the sugar helps actually.

Thanks for the replies. I find myself getting extremely hungry after an hour into practice exams and find it difficult to concentrate so I would find having a toffee or two very helpful!

Gummi bears would be good, too.

I don’t know, I figure a diabetic would probably want to bring something in…

I tried bringing a small ziplock with some pieces of a chocolate bar in to L1, that was a no-go. I don’t know why they would let you bring in wrapped candies and not that - some sneaky buggers could easily tuck formula’s inside the wrappers. What was I going to do, carve formulas into the chocolate?

It must depend on the proctors. I brought in a small container of icebreakers candy; the proctors said it was fine so long as I kept them in my pocket. So make sure you can get to the candy in your pocket without having to look at the container.
