Ok, so through my cutting edge online research, it does seem like there is a “non-disclosure” policy for grades at some highly ranked business schools - Wharton specifically, but these kinds of things tend to trickle to other schools, so most likely at least some other programs do this as well. I guess they want to believe that all their graduates are their own kind of unique snowflake or something. I know that this is not the case for law school though, and I guess this makes sense, since law practice is very academic and grades are thus quite relevant to employers.
