does anyone here use these 2 or another mail-order meal preps? how much is an average meal?
from the commercials they are going after the gourmet meal market share vs the fast food delivery/carryout. i wonder if they are actually making money. i guess it all depends how much an average meals costs vs buying the same stuff at the store and using google to look up a recipe.
I do blue apron. Sixty dollar a box for three meals, two servings each. Definitely couldn’t buy the ingredients for that cheaply and the food tastes restaurant quality.
why is this in Investments? igor, are you buying in to the next financing round of Blue Apron?
just wondering if they are making money yet, how their business plan is set up, etc
the wife and I use blue apron and home chef… home chef is far and away better than blue apron.

they’re both the exact same… $10/meal/person, or $60/week for each service. Shipping is included in that price.

I’ve only used Blueapron – but what I’m told and read is that Blue Apron tends to be lower calorie with more exotic ingredients, which is what I’m after
