I was watching a youtube video by IFT/Arif Irfanullah and he made an interesting comment that he tries to quantify how much focus you should give each topic area by assigning a value/difficulty ratio.
Which topics have the highest ratios of points/difficulty and which areas are the hardest and worth the least?
For me, the top 3 reward-to-effort ratio were in: equity, alternative investments, corporate finance
My bottom 3 were in: Quantitative, Derivatives, Portfolio Management
For me the bottom is always Economics. I’m so dumb in it that now I think I probably should have skipped and study/practice other topics instead because I again spent too much time on it and my scores are terrible. It was the same for LI.
