Only a few hours left…I’m scared!!!
i feel like ill be on this same forum next may…
I feel like I’m coming down with something… goddamnit.
A slight hangover, but I took the day off to polish up what I could. Not too optimistic, but then again I felt the same way with level 1 -
I was diagnosed with cancer this week. I delayed my surgery in order to write this exam. If I pass, I get a big gold star from the universe. photoguy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I feel like I’m coming down with something… > goddamnit.

My thoughts and prayers to you. All the best on both the test and life’s battles.

A little inspiration for you, my dad beat colon cancer and got a kidney transplant, while living with diabetes. Medicine today is very advanced if you caught it early you should be A-OK. further…is the charter worth more than your life? jesus man get your body fixed i’m SURE CFAI would refund your fees in this instance!!! and if not just send your story to like FOX news or somethign and then I’m sure you would be able to get your $ back after the story aired, although that might be a violation by making CFAI look bad.

Sorry to hear that, I wish you all the best. I always go into every exam feeling very confident, it’s all about the mindset. Cool, calm and collected.
I feel good. I am convinced I know 75-80% of the material, which should equate to a pass. The only thing that scares me is the potential for a “lumpy” exam in areas that I am weaker than I should be. Edit - changed OK to good… Can’t walk into the exam just feeling OK
I am feeling excite to be looking at the Level III forum next year. Confidence is key.
Actually, the rule covering the reputation of CFAI does not extend to members giving opinions or beliefs about CFAI. Members are free to give negative opinions of the institute (as long as it’s not slander or libel I guess.)
I’m feeling great, my only concern is getting a good night of sleep, I usually get too excited and can’t stop thinking, take like 3 hours to fall asleep after I go to bed…any suggestions?
Take melatonin before bed. It’s a natural sleep aid. brazilatz Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I’m feeling great, my only concern is getting a > good night of sleep, I usually get too excited and > can’t stop thinking, take like 3 hours to fall > asleep after I go to bed…any suggestions?
I am fluxuating between very very anxious and very very pumped up. Last year, the morning of Level 1, my friend texted me “Immortality is yours! Take it!” like 30 minutes before the exam. It got me really pumped up. As funny as it is, I’ve been thinking of that quote a lot today and it still pumps me up for tomorrow. I almost want to give out a “war cry” at some point, but people in my office would probably look at me like I’m a f*cking retard.
looking forward to re-taking it next year, and being better prepared and less stressed
I believe that quote was from the movie “Troy”. Brad Pitt (Achillies - the only redeeming quality of the movie), tells his Myrmidons “Let no man forget how menacing we are, we are lions! Do you know what’s waiting beyond that beach? Immortality! Take it! It’s yours!”
I feel like giving up…oh well, it will give me one year to prepare really well for this exam. I’ll still show up, maybe my magic combination of 3 letter choices will work: abababababccbbacbabcabcbacbabcabcabcbabcabcabacb
They give you the answer…just find it. We choose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard… “Alright, lets do this…leroy jenkinssssss”

If i don’t, ill be moderately surprised. 2 years I’ve been studying for this thing and my weak areas are really only weak from the stand point that it takes me a minute to figure it out. unless they are just evil and brutal with minor points, I should be fine.
