Sort of funny how a lot of us candidates (me in particular) have downplayed the designation but feel elated/crushed today.
Anyway, congrats to all the soon to be charter holders at the WC. Hopefully I’ll be able to join the club next year.

It’s one thing to downplay the designation, and it’s another to completely disregard the value of the charter.
i think it’s not a magic title, people don’t turn into superheroes or suddenly become VIPs and skip the lineups to the clubs… even if you pass, the excitement dies after a few weeks/ months, and harsh reality hits after.
Of course not! That really happens when you get a sick FICO score. I know once I get over 800 I’ll be able to get all the hot Russian Babes.
