Level I: Blowjob from Bar Rafaeli Level II: Rimjob behind bars without jelly
You know here in Australia CPA tried to merge with CA…and got rejected COLD…CPA is not big deal…I have done CA already and CPA is a walk in the park compared to CA and CA is a walk in the park compared to CFA…Mr CPA you have no idea what you are talking about…

That was funny Philly. Side note, what’s the deal with people telling other people that they failed at life on this forum? How exactly do u fail at life? Actually, how do u pass?
luckily in life your only graded on carrying out the code of ethics to the best of your ability. Therefore the MPS is different for each individual because god takes into perspective each persons unique circumstances and constraints. The only difference is with life there are no re-takes
If I may throw a question in. I took L1 last week and feel really confident that I passed. Not that I’m arrogant by any means, I just put so much time in and did so many mock exams that I feel comfortable being optimistic. I’ve got some good friends and coworkers who sat for L2 last week, and I consider them to be much smarter than me, and they are sweating bullets, which has me nervous. Based on your experiences, would starting to study now for L2 be a good idea. I have the 2010 schweser and cfai L2 materials through my roommate. Part of me thinks anything I learn now I might forget by the time early 2011 comes around, but from reading your responses application and working knowledge are much more important in L2 rather than just regurgitated formulas I’m thinking I might need every bit of a year. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, best of luck to everyone who sat for L2.
EastCostJ, Way too early to start studying now, whether or not you passed or failed - just enjoy the time off let late July roll around and then start to strategize… Enjoy the quiet now because if you’re right and you did pass L1 you are in the battle of your life with L2 so use this time to re-energize the batteries, cause your going to need it…

level 1: Paintball game with your grandpa. with you holding all the bullets and your granny holding a water pistol. level 2: got conscripted and placed 1000 KM behind enemy line (near germany) with only a rubber-band pistol and a T-shirt which said “Uber-Gay Nazis” Seriously, Level 1, if you do the time, you WILL pass. Level 2, you need alot more of everything. I think the Level 2 is the “make or break” part of the course. Also agreed that if you study as per required for level 1 and only barely passed, i suggest that you not try L2.
Not because I aggree with degree-of-differentiation, but because I think this post is hilarious: - L1 is like a body shot of Jameson off of a naked Jessica Alba… - L2 is like a body shot from Mike Tyson so he can f*ck you 'till you love him

Well played sir.
This thread is gone overboard. lol
EastCoastJ, If I were you, I would *definitely* start on the L2 curriculum now. If you can get through the whole CFAI material (and all the end of chapter questions) before the Schweser class begins (if you’re taking the class), and then cover the Schweser readings concurrently with the class, you should be in good shape. Repetition is the key to learning.
In honour of the World Cup: Level 1 is like playing soccer against an under 14 girls team after they’ve been told they can meet Justin Bieber if they throw the match. Level 2 is like playing against a soccer team made up of Brazil’s defense, Spain’s midfield and Argentina’s forwards, after you’ve been tied to the door separating the same under 14 team from Justin Bieber.
Level 1: Sarging with Justin Bieber Level 2: Sarging with Just Bieber’s mom
Level 1: Drinking a glass of milk Level 2: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/africa/06/20/south.africa.female.condom/index.html
Level 1 - NES Tetris Level 2 - World of Warcraft
