Thinking about it and curious to know the requirements.
I wonder, are all procters CFA candidates?

I don’t know either, so I just emailed HR
I don’t think the CFA proctors have anything to do with CFAI. Aren’t they all professional test administrators?

Pretty obvious these guys are doing it for the $10/hr or whatever they are paid and have no idea what is on this test. spoke to one of the proctors at my centre, and he was a medical resident at the university. No CFAI involvement there!

Why do you wanna be a freaking proctor? I honestly felt sorry for them for having to walk around for 3 hours without anything to do.
Yeah its much better that $10. A buddy did it and got somthing like $250 for the day. Not too shabby for standing around for hours and counting tests afterwards.
I got to say… there were a few cute girls proctoring… Luckily I was too determined and focused to let it get to me… hehe
that’s what I would like to say … if you look good in mini skirt … you are hired … in my book … iteracom Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I got to say… there were a few cute girls > proctoring… Luckily I was too determined and > focused to let it get to me… hehe

Not a bad gig. Great job security.
I think the more satisfying job I was told is to grade the CFA exams once you get the Charter. You get to see from the other side how things are.
I knew I remembered this discussion from before. http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?12,782762 I met a woman on the train a few months ago who used to grade the exams. She said it was fun, she and a few others from the area would fly down and grade. The proctoring sounds like a good thing too.

They are just hired for the day…nothing to do with CFA. I remember when I was in Singapore and there was this cutie I was talking to during the break, when I went to collect my cell. She was like…so what’s the exam all about? I was like…well, its a lot to explain in a minute, so how about I explain it over a snack or something? I guess she didn’t see that one coming, but I did manage to get her number at the end of the day
they are from other professional field, like medicine or law. CFA candidate cannot be proctors.
the proctors in london were not from a professional field…some of them seemed clearly uneducated.
