How do you solve for Logs of Base 10 on an HB 12C calculator?

Is there a way to directly solve for Logs of base 10 on the HP 12 C? The way I would solve “Log base 10 of 100” would be to divide Ln(100) by Ln(20) and the result would be two. Is there a more direct way? I looked through the calc manual and did not see any other way.

you would do ln(100) / ln (10) to get log 100 to base 10. (not divide by ln(20) as you have done.

and that apparently is the only way known.

There are probably bazillions of ways known, but that one is a simple property of logarithms that uses buttons on the calculator.

It’s the way to do it.

OK great! Thank you both!

My pleasure.
