How many answers should be correct to pass FRM Level I?

I know this not right question but still I am interested to know that how many answers should b approximately correct to pass level one. Just want to know with approximation.

119

119? out of 100 questions?

Stupidity is one of your strenghts.

Can someone guide on what cut off required to clear FRM I?

Exam is fairly hard, I think its between 55-60%.

Thanks Brother.

@Anand,

you need to get 50% questions correct in each section. now since questions does not come topic wise but still you would able to judge what topic is it from. so it goes like this Quant has weightage of 20% out of 100 so you can expect 20 questions out of which you need to get atleast 10 right same way finanacial markets and products has 30 questions then you need to get 15 correct. overall quants + FMP = 50 then you need atleast 25 correct. since there is no negative marking you can do guess work too.

hope that answers your question.

Yes… that answers my question. Thank you very much

@Lapadist,

What is the source of information that we necessarily need to score 50% correct in each section?

Would you suggest that those falling in 4th quartile in a section and yet passing the exam still have more than 50% correct in that section as well?

100 questions should do it
