I previously set the calculator to 4 four digits. Not really four digits. But here’s how it works. 0.4032. The calculator’s default is 0.40, for instance. But recently I encountered a question and I got it wrong because it requires two more digits…Duh So I like to ask all of you, how many digits should I set for my calculator, to be safe? Thanks.

# How many digits did you set your BA II Plus calculator?

9

9

6.3

Set it to 9 and it’ll only display as many digits as necessary.

But seriously…

I always set to 9

very nice!

I think I only used 5 or 6 but you should try using the store and recall function. Especially on the multiple choice where showing your work doesn’t matter. Saves time and is more precise once you get the hang of it

I always set it to 9. Then I don’t have to worry about the number of decimal places.
