How many multiple choices per question? Schweser has 3

Schweser practice tests and the concept checker questions have only 3 multiple choices per question: a, b and c. I guess that will be the number of choices in the exam as well, right? I have been on a long break and am just resuming my CFA studies… and I believe a few years ago we were given more choices per question, I think at least 4. Of course fewer choices per question increases the chance of getting it right, so I am not complaining

The CFAI changed the style of their exams. Welcome back.

The MPS skyrocketed from 65% to 70+%. So it doesn’t really matter.

Thanks Mehdiochre. Also, I am so glad to see that we don’t have to write essays anymore  Swaptiongamma, I thought the minimum passing score has always been 70%??

L2 had essays?

Hey guys, Was under the assumption that the Minimum Passing Score has not changed ans is still 70%, is it still the case? thanks! M.

I think the passmark is worked out based on the the top 10% of candidates somehow.

70% is the “safe” score that candidates from previous years have worked out. Only CFAI knows the exact pass mark.
