I gotta admit, if it weren’t for my dislike of cold weather and long winters, and my extreme hatred for the Eagles (or any other Philadelphia sports team, for that matter), Philly would rank high on my list of places to live.
Denver would also be high on the list.
But as it stands now, I don’t have any desire to leave Texas. If I move anywhere, it will probably be to Fort Worth.
(edit - the suburbs of these cities, that is. I have zero desire to live “in the city”, whatever that means.)
Not playing the list game, just showing that Philly ain’t what it was 20 years ago. And, compared to KC…come on, man. Easy decision.
Also, your first link delivers me to what appears to be my middle school HTML project. Philly sports is dismal, good thing there are other things to do in the city.
i have 15% discount too but taxation eats up 6% and i have currency charges on both sides which eats up 3%, leaving me a true 6% discount. i figure, it’s only worth it if i have no LOC debt and thus no interest cost associated and unless i have money to put into a non-taxable account b/c gains are taxed. but i’m in Canada where taxes are high so the math might make more sense south of the border. when you’re incredibly wealthy and have $20k just sitting in the bank as an emergency fund, this makes sense.
