Because everyone is procrastinating from work or study and I’m just not going to bed for some reason…
People have been ragging on Villa a lot, but they are a solid team this year, I’m really impressed with Martin O’Neill. When we tied Sunderland this weekend when Villa lost to Chelsea… that hurt quite a lot. We need Fabregas back as without him we don’t have anyone to field the ball to the strikers. and the fact that Bendtner is starting as our injuries are so bad is just terrible- did you see his miss against Roma? He skyed it after having it sit on his foot just outside the six.
Way too many threads with my name on it - ok I agree they are doing really well this season so I’ll try to stop ragging on them but it’s so easy since my mates all support utd or villa! Didn’t see the miss against Roma - since I started studying i usually only catch the highlights or match of the day
Same here, I never get to watch the premiership (except Liverpool and Man City as people were over), but I allowed an exception for the Champions League. So far the games have been decent- Man U and Inter was a decent match, but I was disappointed with Adriano for his miss, as it was their only real shot. I also didn’t except Bayern to beat Sporting 5-nil away, that was a bit much.
Ah seriously? didn’t see the Inter match… saw a bit of the celtic match over the weekend though… where are you from?
Atlantic Canada- I know, I’m an oddity over here. It’s difficult to get a lot of the matches over here, and Setanta isn’t worth 15 bucks a month when I’m studying all the time. Luckily a friend has it so I can mooch a few games here and there… I’m heading to London in June to watch Wimbledon and I’d kill to see a match, but it’s too late in the season I’m afraid. I’m still hoping an international friendly will take place, but it’s a long shot I fear.
Yeah June would be too late alright! Fair play - figured you were from England or Ireland with your knowledge of the premiership!
Well thank you for the complement! I don’t know as much about the other leagues, but I want to start following the Series A and La Liga as well… no one really cares about the Bundesliga and the Championnat…
NP - what about the scottish leagues?
Don’t know much about the SPL after Celtic and Rangers I’m afraid. I probably won’t look into it much as the coverage here isn’t great and it’s always a two horse race anyway…
Yeah suppose it is always celtic or rangers but sure 2 horse race can be interesting when it’s a close call - gotta go with celtic - anyways not running away from the footy talk but it’s after midnight here so gotta hit the hay or else I won’t get my 6 hours as per the original topic of this thread!
