Last week, Amy Schumer was heavily pushed in the news everywhere. You couldn’t read Yahoo or Google news without seeing her mentioned somewhere. I have no idea why. Great tech-savvy publicist, perhaps.
It’s funny/tragic to watch normal people getting manipulated by celebrities in multiple ways, using the media.
ADDED: I remember one time when it failed spectacularly, and that is Jerry Seinfeld being everywhere pushing his crappy Bee movie.
