How to find local quants?

Is there a website or association where professionals in quantitative analysis get together, exchange ideas, socialize etc? I am assuming NY would be #1 in quantitative analysis since most hedge funds are located there. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot guys.

I think SF and Boston also have quants because of the high concentration of geeks there.
