It seems there are so many different accounting rules to know for the level 1 exam. Most of the rules do not much intuition behind them, so how should I go about trying to memorize these formulas?
Repetition and more repetition. Use note cards. Didn’t you have you study in high school? College?
Same way you get to Carnegie Hall: practice, practice, practice.
Haha I am currently in college.
is there some new trend to take the exams in college? I was overloaded with courses in college - how do you have time
yes
I think it depends on what college you attended and what your major is. For me, I go to a non-target state school and am currently pursuing a management degree. I have set up my schedule so I take Quantative methods, Statistics, investment analysis and financial accounting while simultaneously studying for CFA level 1, so many of the concepts overlap. In addition, I gave myself an entire year to study for the exam. In my oppinion I would much rather do it this way, over holding down a full-time job and studying at the same time.
