hp 12c correlation/intercept/slope coefficient formula for simple regression

r = x<>y b0 = 0,g,(y-hat,r) b1 = 1,g,(y-hat,r),x<>y,R-down,x<>y,-- yeah i know crazy to remember to do this on exam when they ask to calculate slope and dont give u the cov or variance. but formulas should be good to cross-check the work.

Agreed. Look here: http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?12,854728,883857#msg-883857

I boycotted the 12c the first time I tried using it. BA II Plus is the only one for me.

kyle1984, I second that. Use BA II plus and learn how to master your calculator. You can answer the above question in 45 seconds instead of spending 5 minutes on it.
