Hi,

For the exam are we required to know how to calculate Chi Square and F-test statistics? Pretty dense formulas!

I think you would you are required to know use of test and how to interpret the results…

You need only calculate the test statistics – (_n_−1)_s_²/_σ_0² and _s_1²/_s_2² – and do the hypothesis tests; you don’t need to know the formula for a _χ_² distribution or an F distribution.

You forgot t-test for paired observations. Total 3 tests with fancy formulas.
