Hypothesis testing - LOS uses "Identify" keyword, but we are asked to calculate the test statistics on practice questions

Hi everyone,

Everything in the title. Why in the learning outcome statements of Hypothesis testing we are only asked to “Identify” the appropriate test statistics, but in practice questions (i don’t know for Mocks), we are actually asked to calculate these test statistics…

So should i memorize the formulas or not?

I would.

I have found that the command words in the LOSs are, at best, loose suggestions.
