for some reason, hypothesis testing will not stick in my head. using Z, T, F and Chi squared just does not click for me. Does anyone have any alternative sources where this is explained in a different way?
after how much time spent on one small subject do you just cut your losses and move on?
its not that difficult I know, but for some reason I just cannot grasp it.
Have you looked at Khan Academy? I’d be surprised if they didn’t have something on hypothesis testing, and their videos are remarkably accessable.
i will check it out thanks.
i know its not optimal, but is there a point where the time spent learning a subject that is hard to grasp is better spent elsewhere?
or should everything be at least understood?
My pleasure.
I actually address that question here. The answer (at Level I) is: yes, there is a point where it’s better to stop studying a topic you just don’t get and move on to something else.
At Level I you can afford to be weak at a couple of (small) topics, as long as you’re strong at everything else. Savor that, because it isn’t true at Levels II and III.
thanks so much. what a great website. and thank you for all of the the help youve given me and all of the other candidates on here
you’re a hero!
i second that sir. You’re a hero. The way you explain things is quite impressive.
