I get the same exact thing.
Yes – I have the Level III link and have signed in and out many times and still see the link.
Like CSK, I never saw such a link last year and I passed. I can just see all the CFAI guys pissed drunk laughing their asses off right now. “Punked some of those b!tches, didn’t we.”
it takes you to the registration dates, and then there is a box that says continue; when you continue, you get the error.
The “magic” link: https://www.cfainstitute.org/finsecustomer_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=Login&SWEPL=1&SWETS=&SWEHo=www.cfainstitute.org
Mcleod or Dinesh - any change?
The Register for L3 link takes you to: https://www.cfainstitute.org/finsecustomer_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=Login&SWEPL=1&SWETS=&SWEHo=www.cfainstitute.org
here is a link to the post from last year: http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?12,594568 seems like the same thing. some people only got the link updated an hour before.
This reminds me of when I was in high school. I ‘played’ the Ouija board once with a couple of friends. Everyone was claiming they weren’t moving the planchette. Its years later and the CFAI website is now controlled by the same paranormal force. It is spelling out “Fail” or “Pass” in a variety of creative ways. Oooooo its sooooo creepy.
for what it’s worth. i now have the link… i guess it makes me feel better, but not really. i don’t think it means sh*t.
I don’t have it.
Does anyone who took in Toronto see the level 3 link yet? Nothing changed so far.
Anyone from Boston see it?

mwvt, as relieved as i am that the stupid link showed up, i still say it means nothing. it could even be a cruel joke to get the link and then find out you didn’t pass. how sick would that be? i don’t see cfai letting something like this slip. even if they did. you are in, mwvt. csk and a bunch of other people did not get the link and passed, big time. not blowing smoke, full confidence in mwvt.
this is going to be the longest thread in AF Forum history
L3 candidate here…last year I spent 45 agonizing minutes looking at AF and a thread saying “I can see the L3 registration link!” while I still had the L2 link. Eventually I did see the L3 link however, prior to results being released…so here is a summary of what this means today If you still see the L2 link, this is not a definitive sign of failing. Again, different people saw different things at different times last year If you see a L3 link, this certainly can’t mean anything bad, but by no means would I chalk that up as a pass If you see the L3 link, and are able to actually register for the exam (like I was last year, prior to results coming out, you are 99% golden…congrats!). Keep in mind the system got caught up a few times and I had to try about 5 times before I was able to get thru all the screens for both L1 and L2, I was able to register for the next year’s exams before the results came out so if anyone tells you different, they are wrong No one will know for sure anything until 9:00AM Tuesday This just proves that CFAI is as proficient in the IT area as they are setting up a fair test of candidate’s knowledge good luck and hope to not see you on AF next year
I’m from Boston and don’t see any level III link.
What does SBU stand for?
Saint Bonaventure University which is near Buffalo, but I currently live in Boston
