Jon Bone’s lip-smacking between sentences is driving me absolutely nuts. It’s getting to the point where I don’t want to watch these videos that I paid a lot of money for. It also seems like he’s just reading off of the slides and isn’t adding much value.
Can anyone tell me how much more of this guy I’m going to have to endure? I had Andy Holmes for Econ and I want him back. I have 2012 Level 1 Schweser. Anyone have a break-down of who teaches what so that I don’t have to put in each CD and see who it is?
I know exactly what you’re saying. I have misophonia and physically cannot endure the sound of his smacking in between sentences. I have contacted Kaplan Schewser to find out if they have any videos on those topics with another instructor (even if they are older videos) but they either don’t or won’t provide them. The only suggestion that they had was for me to spend even more money to get live class sessions.
I have already had to factor in other means of studying around his sessions for Level I and hopefully I will pass without those instructional sections provided by Schweser. If I can pull off passing Level I on the first go, I have anxiety about Level II instruction and how many videos in which he will be. Is there anyone studying for Level II that can give a head’s up if the Kaplan course is worth the money if Bone is lecturing in those videos?
To be fair, he could be a very nice man who know the ins and outs of finance as well as anyone could; however, the smacking noise is beyond intolerable.
Jon Bone is the worst. Most of the time he seems completly surprised by what is on the slides and totally disinterested. FRA is boring enough, but with him those sessions were almost unwatchable.
Even my wife was like, “Why are You watching the video with that annoying british guy again?”
