I created a guide last year to track all of the mocks taken across tons of AF users. Thought it might be helpful to share

I can’t speak for any other candidate, but I passed Level 2 last year (Candidate 1), and this helped me gauge where I was relative to the other candidates. We had a pretty good showing of folks who filled in the form. This one happens to be locked, but it might be a good idea if one of you wanted to do the same as I thought it proved helpful towards the end.

My one word of advice though would be to take this with a grain of salt as most willing AF users will also be the ones doing well… think Survivorship Bias. Anyway, hope this is useful.

I noticed that quite a few of you guys took the previous year’s mock exam. Would it be advisable for me to attempt the 2015 and 2014 mock exam despite the curriculum changes?

Also, what was your preparation process during the last month of study up till the exam? Did you focused only on Mocks and Topic tests?

If you are taking CFAI Topic tests then not required, as these topic tests are nothing but RELEVANT compilation of previous year mocks.

There is certainly a lot of overlap from the CFAI Topic Tests if I recall correctly. I can’t speak to past mock exams as I’m not sure of the curriculum changes this year.

I’d suggest just banging out as many mocks as you can. That repitition is what really helped me come exam time. I also found the actual exam to be easier than the mocks I had taken, fwiw

Interesting stuff thanks for sharing!

Is that really the case? I have no idea so I am asking a serious question. I have been doing both Schweser Mocks and did the CFAI mock and felt the CFA mock was much harder and was wondering where I could get another CFAI mock. During the week I also bang out a couple of cases that are on the CFAI site and those are a pretty good test I feel. I just was wondering if those individual cases on the CFAI site were from previous mocks/where they came from.

Thanks. Did candidate 4 pass?

Total 84 sets means you have 4 CFAI tests at your disposal + 1 official = A total of 5 sets Now if I count EOC sets that will add a good number For a different flavour Schweser 6 tests are also pretty good and somewhat closer to the exam LOD Last 4 weeks gonna be interesting
