Chipotle announced that they will develop a burger chain, with a menu “limited to burgers, milkshakes and fries”. So basically, their strategy is to make a Shake Shack clone. I think they are out of ideas…
I’ve been eating Chipotle for 12 years. Love it. Was my first stock back in high school when it was trading for like $15. Wasn’t smart enough to hold onto it long term unfortunately. They have reached basically every US market now, ‘supernormal growth phase’ is over, burger chains other than Five Guys are hacksaw, sell sell sell.
