Good article, people need to stop thinking college is the sure-fire way to go. I recently talked to a plumber and he’s making boatloads because there’s such a shortage of people and so much work needing to be done. He’s raising his prices to $180 per hour.
I wish I made $180 per hour.
^ My dad used to own a company in Canada that was a big housing industry subcontractor. They made good money, but he said the real money makers were the master electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradesmen and the guys that owned those companies. There is such a shortage since most people my age have no desire to go into those jobs, or have no idea how lucrative they are.
