With some posters here, I would say that it could be intentional.
With others, not a chance.
Actually nauseous can mean affected with nausea.
To allow that “nauseous” can mean afflicted with nausea is to take a word with a concrete meaning (inducing nausea) and make it ambiguous. We should not allow definitions that result from people’s misunderstanding of what words mean.
