I want to quit my job - please opine

With some posters here, I would say that it could be intentional.

With others, not a chance.

Actually nauseous can mean affected with nausea.

To allow that “nauseous” can mean afflicted with nausea is to take a word with a concrete meaning (inducing nausea) and make it ambiguous. We should not allow definitions that result from people’s misunderstanding of what words mean.

Hmmm that’s interesting. So you don’t think that language ever changes? Have you seen old English…

That’s a absurd overgeneralization.

What I said is that changing from clear to ambiguous should be resisted.

I did but honestly we stopped the last couple of day because her stomach still hurts. She is a bit gassy. Nauseous. And keeps burping. It’s been 20 days. Her covid test got lost too. Her job is paying for a rapid test for her to come back. 175 a pop. I have a nagging cough but I already tested negative.

Does she have heartburn?
Do her boobs hurt?
I think you need to take a different kind of test.

Yeah all of you are right. I realized that she’s just acting like an intolerable A-hole because it’s harder to dump someone than it is to be dumped. It’s nothing I haven’t done to her before. So I guess I have to eat ■■■■ on this one.

God I hope by springtime the bars open back up.
