All months of hardwork and expectation, when i reached at exam center they didnt allow me to sit in exam due to difference in name apprearing on exam ticket and name on passport.
My name is Zeeshan and my first name on passport is also Zeeshan which match’s perfectly but they wanted that to be a exact match. why dont they say name should a full name match !
anyways because this they didnt let me sit in exam anyone has any idea whats going to happen now ? do i have to pay entire fees again ?
I’m not sure what happens now but I would assume you will be recorded as a non taker and forfeit your entrance fee, and will need to pay again to sit next session.
I hate to kick you while you’re down as I assume you’re feeling pretty awful right now and I sympathise…but I remember receiving numerous emails from GARP clearly stating that the name in the exam ticket had to match the name on my passport EXACTLY and wouldn’t be allowed to sit the exam if that wasn’t the case. Did you not receive any of these emails? It also lists this requirement on the actual exam ticket and also in their FAQs on the website. For future reference you REALLY need to pay attention to these things and do some thorough checking of details so these things don’t happen.
My only assumption was first name to be matched I kicked myself all day went crazy as hell I wish they do something I lost my time already I wish they do something with fees
