Stoners can be as ambitious blah blah as any normal peson. It’s not like becoming a stoner can make you into anything you listed above, they would probably have been dormant inside you.
The only thing weed does do for sure is mess up your body type (in some cases).
I always justified it as the real sin was that Onan went against god’s will and splooshed on the ground instead of inside Tamar, since he was supposed to impregnate her. Otherwise, fapping isn’t even the sin here, it’s pulling out…
This must be where the mormon thing comes from (no protection, no pulling out, etc)
I like to think I keep a good objective view of things as I’ve learned it my whole life, but don’t practice. The sin wasn’t to do with sex at all, it was simply that Onan didn’t do what God had willed. I don’t know if it was his direct will “Hey Onan, impregnate Tamar”, but he was required by law to do that for his brothers widow, and he didn’t. So against God’s will by extension.
Yeah, the story of Onan is one of the more weirdly twisted parts used to justify something that the story doesn’t seem to be about. It’s really about refusing to do duty and impregnate your brother’s widow now that he can’t do it. It’s a bizarre demand, but if we are going to use that story to ban seed that doesn’t get inside a woman, then we should also be demanding that people screw their brothers’ widows after they die (unless there are already children). I don’t see the story of Onan being used that way, but clearly that’s what a biblical literalist needs to be doing.
By the way, as far as i can tell, there is apparently nothing in the bible that prohibits women from pleasuring themselves, or from lesbian relationships. Onan’s story doesn’t seem to say anything about what women might do, although if they do it during their menses, that supposed to be extra dirty because períod blood is “ewwww” according to Leviticus.
However there is one place in the Bible where the word “malakia” is mentioned (sometimes it is translated as lust, perversion or onanism). And mentioned not in a good sense.
There is still uncertainty what is meant by it. But in Greek “malaka” means a fapper. I’m dead sure about this as Greeks told me this. So I believe the Bible is still against fapping.
I’m not in pusrsuit of credibility. And I’m not paid to make people accept the things I say in this thread.
All I’m saying is bona fide and without a slightest intent to force someone to trust or distrust me. I simply don’t care.
At the same time, some male participants do see a seed of empirical truth in my words. And this is pleasant to hear, the others think I’m a … Whichever you think is fine by me. We are here to entertain ourselves.
