Yes but you will never see/hear a case of a guy putting on weight because of weed. The only Side effect seems to be weight loss. This is only from my sample size about 40+…havent bothered to read any studies. One theory is that because you get the munchies and overeat at that time your bfast/lunch/dinner timings etc get messed up
A couple of girls I rejected to sleep with because I had a GF at the time and was really against cheating. Since I am longer with the girl I stayed faithful too I wish I would have said yes to those two girls. Could have perhaps also altered other relationships that didnt work out.
I would have gone to med school instead of being lazy and doing finance…hmmm, game theory or O-chem? At the time it seemed like an easy decision. If I save enough money, it may not be too late to make a switch as a second career.
I would probably travel more, actually i regret not applying to be a flight attendent when i was younger. A lot of my friends are flight attendents and they travelled to so many places. I could have worked a few years and study on the side for something else and switch out when i have travelled enough (which should not be longer than 3-5 years for most flight attendents).
I know some flight attendants. It’s not quite as glamorous as we imagine it to be, but the perks are still pretty nice. A lot of them are based on the seniority system, so when you start out, you end up covering for all the others who are spending an extra day here or there.
In the US, a number of airlines don’t start the pay clock until the engines turn on, so any time sitting at the gate with delays is time that flight attendants are basically working for free. That’s why here in the US, a lot of flight attendants are kinda grumpy while you’re taking forever to board.
True, the pay for flight attendents isn’t great anywhere. But since i am only looking for free traveling i don’t mind (given i work for a big international airline, and not a domestic one).
Most people don’t make that much in their early 20s working in other occupations anyway, so i don’t mind taking my chances and spend a few years travelling and networking.
Reminds me of a joke I heard about med school. Doctor professor is talking to a group of new med students. They bring out a cadaver and the professor says, “First lesson is to overcome your fear of the human body”. He then sticks his finger in the cadaver’s butt, then puts a finger in his mouth. Then he asks all the students to do the same. Then, the professor says “The second lesson is to be perceptive - I put a different finger in my mouth then the one that went in the cadaver’s butt”.
