What would you do to get another 10%? Here is my plan 1) Do all CFAI samples and study answers (66% on CFAI Sample 1 and 63 on CFAI Mock) 2) Do BSAS Exam 3) Do 2005, 2006 and 2008 AM – Already done 2007 AM. 4) Review the heck out of my notes 5) Review weak topics Any input is highly appreciated

I’m with you… my scores are also very borderline…and need to jump over!! If any of ya’ll noticed there was a question on the 2006 and 2008 exam (the corner portfolio) one…which was ridiculously similar…!! not that I’m keeping my hopes up toooo high to see a repeated question from the 2007 exam…but hey…why take a chance…so my plan is something similar. 1. Taken exams 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 mock - Will thoroughly review all… 2. Review the crap out of my formula sheet 3. Hit weak areas (fixed income again!) 4. Probably do some qbank everyday…ethics, gips …topics i’ve ignored for a while… 5. Pray

  1. Done the IPS for 2000 to 2004. Will also do 2005 tonight. 2. Do 2006, 2007 and 2008 in detail with timing. 3. Schweser exams, still have 3 of them go to. Won’t do them on time, though. 4. 2009 PM mock 5. If time permits, re-do BSAS 2009 to see if I’ve improved. Same for 2008 AM 6. If I get bored, buy the samples online 7. Friday is ethics day. Don’t want to do any hardcore stuff so I go remind myself of all Ethics bullcrap so I don’t lose any unnecessary points. Meanwhile, I’ll get on my bike and ride the country to make sure my head is cleared for Saturday. Saturday: Hit this thing as hard as I can. Terrified of the AM session.

By the way, I’m doing 50s in the AM and 60/low 70s in the PM. I still figured this thread suited me, being the optimist that I am.

mumu – I like the praying idea. I better brush up on that as I think I forgot how, but better late than never. Sounds like you got it figured out mcpass! I am leaving ethics to friday AM as well. Bonne Chance.

ah finally a post i can relate to, none of this ‘oh i’m only scoring 70 bullcrap!’ for me i’m going to concentrate on my known weak areas, payoffs in general, derivs, exchange rate questions. i still have the BSAS which i will do monday and tuesday and then i guess go over all the questions i’ve gotten wrong in previous exams.

gees how do you guys find the time to do so many practice/mock/past exams? I’ve done 2009 Mock and Schweser 1 and 2. Plan to do full 2008 exam and 2007 AM. Don’t think I’ll get to any of the Samples.
