I wasn’t going to start until after a short trip I have planned next month. Keep it intense and efficient was my idea. But I am getting jealous of everyone talking about LOSs. How lame is that???!!!

Actually I thinking studying before your trip is a great idea, as it allows you to have something to look forward to while studying. Just make sure you put it out of your mind while away so what Bill says doesn’t happen. I always take a trip after CFA exams, as it gives me motivation when I don’t feel like studying. On a more micro level I usually try have a night on the town every weekend (movie, drinking, eating or some variation) which keeps me motivated, and usually have a cigar everynight walking home from studies. I’m a big believer in carrots I guess…
