Hi Guys, When it comes to asset allocation for individual investors what is the role of cash? I always thought you should keep a bit of cash or at least in short term securities to meet liquidity requirements ( one off and ongoing expenses). Is that right?

Always try to minimize it unless you need a cash reserve.
of course too much cash creates a cash drag on return
