Hey Guys, I guess this has been asked before but just in case there has been any recent change that somebody knows about — Is there an individual cut off for each topic for CFA Level 1 exam ? If not, why is it that there is a stress on ethics and accounting ? Thanks ! Hari
there is not a cutoff for a particular section. ethics is stressed because often it is difficult and there are a decent amount of questions from that category. FSA is also a huge part of the exam. if you do poorly on ethics, quant and/or FSA you could be in trouble.
Quant? I understand that Ethics and FSA are really big but qaunt is worth 10%. Ethics is used for those who are borderline pass/fail, and FSA is 20%. But why qaunt? I would’ve thought FI would be the big third one. Right?
